Vidya Pratishthan is one of the educational institute working in rural part of Western Maharashtra. It became milestone in education within a short span of time. Vidya Pratishthan introduced a Diploma in Teacher Education, popularly known as D.T.Ed (Diploma in Teacher Education) in November 2004. To begin with we had a division of 50 students and English as medium of instruction. Later in December 2006 an additional division of 50 students was introduced. The language of instruction for this division is Marathi the vernacular language of Maharashtra State. This Diploma is designed for students who have completed twelve years of school and are desirous to teach in Elementary school. The duration of the course is two academic years with an additional six months period of INTERNSHIP.

At present the total strength of Adhyapak Vidyalay is 200 students including 100 in first year and 100 in second year.

Vidya Pratishthan's Adhyapak Vidyalaya has achieved a milestone in the field of education. Adhyapak Vidyalaya has produced many teachers. Most of students from VPAV are working in Kendriya Vidyalaya, Navodya Vidyalaya, Private English School, Mumbai Corporation Schools, Zilla Parishad Schools in all over Maharashtra.

During two years course, our students experience many events which are very useful for a school teacher. Students are given training to achieve mastery over the technology to use while teaching.
